Easy Fitting
- Locate the airbox in the engine bay (it’s usually a black plastic box connected to the intake hose).
- Undo the airbox clips or screws/bolts using a screwdriver or socket (depending on your vehicle).
- Lift the airbox lid carefully and remove the existing paper filter.
- Wipe away any loose dust or debris inside the airbox (a clean, dry cloth works well). Avoid letting dirt fall into the intake.
- Drop your new Jetex Response Air Filter into the airbox in the same orientation as the original, making sure it sits flat and seals neatly around the edges.
- Refit the airbox lid, then re-secure the clips/screws. Tighten until snug—don’t overtighten.
- Double-check everything is seated properly and that no tools or packaging have been left in the engine bay.
In most cases it’s a straightforward "lift-out, drop-in" swap and can be done in just a few minutes.
Better than K&N!
In an independent airflow test carried out by Fast Car Magazine, Jetex air filters proved to outperform some of the biggest names in the industry - including K&N.
The Fast Car filter comparison tested six leading performance filter brands using a dedicated airflow and restriction rig. Each filter was measured for airflow restriction under increasing load, allowing a direct, scientific comparison between brands.

Servicing Your Jetex Response Air Filter
Your Jetex Response Air Filter is supplied ready to use, treated with a fine mist of oil. With normal use of up to 10,000 miles per annum, it will need cleaning and re-misting with the cleaner and oil supplied every 3 to 4 years.
Please find below a step-by-step guide to servicing your Jetex Response Air Filter, using the cleaner and oil included with the kit. As you can see, it couldn’t be easier, and with regular services every 3 to 4 years you can expect it to last for the lifetime of the vehicle (backed up by our no hassle Lifetime Warranty).
- Remove the filter from the airbox.
- Using a brush or a vacuum cleaner (on a low setting), remove any loose dirt/debris.
- Wet the filter lightly with cold water.
- Fill a shallow dish with Jetex Response Air Filter Cleaner
- Roll or dip the filter in the solution and allow to stand for 15 minutes in order to dissolve the remaining dirt/debris.
- Rinse the filter with warm (not hot) water from inside to out.
- Allow the filter to dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer or other extreme heat sources.
- Lightly spray the filter with Jetex Response Filter Oil until an even blue colour is achieved.
- Use an absorbent cloth to take up any excess oil.
- Refit your Jetex filter.
