Please note the height of the seat shown is from the ground to the highest point of the seat, when the seat base is flat on the ground as shown in the diagram. This is to demonstrate the height required when the seat is fitted in a vehicle. All measurements are in millimetres.
Overview
Please note standard specification Nogaro seats come with light grey stitching and embroidery as shown in the close up photo above.
This new, aggressively styled seat features a similar profile to Cobra's technically advanced race seats but minimises the compromises normally associated when fitting race seats to a regularly used road car. The side and shoulder bolsters offer great levels of body support but allow easy entry and exit and the base profile allows the seat to be mounted very low in the car if that is your favoured driving position.
Designed to be used with a standard lap and diagonal seatbelt without modifications. Harness slots also allow for a 4 or 6 point harness if you venture out onto track at the weekend (if you do not require harness slots, please select the Nogaro Street version of this seat). Please note there is an additional crutch strap harness slot in the base of the seat accessable through the gap between the knee and base cushion.
The Nogaro is available in two shell materials, GRP and Carbon in a wide range of fabrics, colours and custom trim options.
The Nogaro has been designed from a clean sheet of paper to appeal to owners of a wide variety of sports, classic and GT cars. Although it is built to Cobra's exacting motorsport standards, this is a seat that is designed to be as much at home on the school run as it is on the Nordschleife. Despite being very supportive, the design has also been carefully balanced to ensure long distance touring comfort and easy entry and exit.
To this end, the seat shell has been carefully sculpted to hold the shoulders and hips, but with lower profile side bolsters on the base to allow quick and easy entry.

Please note - when choosing the heated seat option, the kit includes a circuit with a switch and will just need connecting to a 12V supply. It is not designed to integrate with the original equipment wiring.

Options
Wet Lay Carbon
Cobra GRP (fibreglass) shell seats are now available with a 'Wet Lay Carbon' shell, which is a layer of carbon fibre applied to the fibreglass shell, to give the look of a fully carbon fibre shell without the expense.
Eyelets
Optionally eyelets can be added to the centre panels of the seat, in the style of the Ford GT40's seats. They require the use of a ladderback (i.e. horizontal) stitching pattern. These are available in Anthracite and Silver, and can be selected using the dropdown box above.

Ladderback stitching is available as an alternative stitching pattern on the backrest for the Cobra Nogaro. This is required when choosing the eyelets option.

A perimeter seam option is available for the Cobra Nogaro, with an extra piece of material sewn between the seam around the edge of the seat. Choose from the range of vinyl colour options we have available.
Embossed Logo

An embossed logo is available as an optional extra, replacing the standard embroidered Cobra logo. This is a more subtle option, pressed into the material with a custom made stamp. This option is only available on leathers.
