It’s not often that vehicle manufacturer’s get the balance right between everyday convenience and maximum performance. Often, the standard suspension is the weakest link, and even with numerous assistance systems, the driving behaviour of the vehicle can be disappointing. The transverse dynamics either take place at the expense of driving comfort or it suffers from the intervention of various assistance control systems.
The KW Variant 4 Kit combines KW’s leading race technology along to increase performance with the ability to improve comfort for day-to-day driving. The kit is developed exclusively for high-performance sports cars and saloons.
The Variant 4 features 3-way adjustable high performance dampers in aluminium or stainless steel depending on application. The height-adjustable units are rebound adjustable with 16 clicks on the damper itself, with further adjustment independent of the rebound on the reservoir with 6 clicks of low speed compression and 14 clicks of high speed compression. This allows a quick and easy change from a comfort to a performance setup, enhancing the usability of the vehicle.
Lowering
This coilover kit will lower your vehicle 10 to 35mm at the front, and 10 to 40mm at the rear.
Compatible Vehicles
The part is compatible with the following versions of the Audi A6 Avant (4A5, C8) (from 2018 onwards):
- RS6 Mild Hybrid quattro - 4L Petrol/Electric 8cyl, 591hp, 4WD Estate
Check Your VIN Plate
Before ordering, it's important to check your vehicle does not exceed the load rating of this product. The easiest way to do this is by checking your VIN plate, usually found in the engine bay, on the underside of the bonnet, or on the driver's side door pillar.
On the VIN plate will be a list of weights, in kilograms. The last two values are the front and rear axle load ratings of your vehicle respectively. For this product, the front axle load rating must be no more than 1390kg, and the rear axle load rating must be no more than 1400kg.
