Car Cover Padded Side Protection System
CoverZone have now developed a side protection buffer system that they can install in your new cover. This clever option permanently fixes a strip of high impact buffer pads along the side of the car in the door and side panel area where they are most vulnerable to door dings and scuffs. The buffer pads are permanently fitted to the cover with double stitching, and they cleverly concertina closed when not in use so handling and storage of the cover is still a breeze. Note that choosing this option will add approx. 2-3 weeks to the dispatch time.
Car Cover Storage Net
CoverZone's Storage Nets have been designed to fit over your car cover and prevent the cover from ballooning in high winds or if the car is being towed on a trailer with a cover fitted. Manufactured from very strong woven netting, the storage nets are fitted with a heavy duty adjustable elastic cord that runs around the lower hem ensuring that once fitted, it remains securely on the vehicle.
Car Cover Security Locking Kit
Designed as a non-scratch deterrent to theft of your car cover, the plastic coated steel cable fits under the car through eyelets that are fitted to the lower hem of the cover. This effectively secures the cover to the car and opportunist theft is prevented.
Electric Car Charge Port Flap Kit
Most electric vehicles can be charged with a tailored cover fitted allowing extra security and full protection from the weather whilst the car is charged at home or at work. CoverZone have now developed a very reasonable kit that adapts a car cover into an EV version by installing a charge port flap. This enables you to locate the charge port, mark the cover with a template provided in the kit, and install the flap that is supplied with a self adhesive backing and Velcro tabs. The kit includes everything that is required to install and reinforce the charge flap and includes step by step instructions.
For peace of mind you should check with your car dealer to ensure that the use of a cover does not impede airflow to cooling fans during the charging operation, but most mainstream models can be covered and charged at the same time.
